The best version of yourself is “ZEN”

According to your needs every session will be adjusted and can be relaxing, reenergising or deep tissue orientated. Please add about 30 min additional to your massage session into your time schedule. The extra times given apart from the massage time will ensure that you have enough time to arrive, decide on appropriate massage techniques like deep tissue, relaxing massages and foot reflexology and to communicate any specific needs, like allergies or past injuries. We will assure that you have enough time to relax after your session and we’ll propose hot or cold tea and water for you. Take time for yourself, you’ll feel the difference!

Relaxing Massage

A relaxing massage, is a massage that will work without pressure by using the sensory organ skin to influence the brain through sense perception.

A variety of movements, applied through painting different shapes onto the skin and change of speed of the movements will distract your brain activity from it’s habits. This way you will forget your usual habitual thinking attitude and give your spirit a chance to reboot. The longer the session, the profounder the influence.

This way of applying a massage therapy is especially suitable for nervous, anxious and stressed people, who have a hard time letting go and finding relaxation. Any essential oil that feels comfortable to you can be used and you’ll be able to choose before the session.

Reenergising Massage

A re-energising (or detox) massage, is a massage that will work primarily on your outer and deeper skin tissues and muscle tissues.

There is less variety in movements, and movements are repeated more constantly and in a fast, re-energizing manner. This session will stimulate your lymph and blood flow enormously.

If you feel a lack of energy, depressed, heavy, slow, sad, this will give you the needed kick off. For this session I will ideally apply lemongrass or other citrony- re-energizing/uplifting essential oils. This will also be the ideal technique to choose to accompany a detox or weight loss program.

Deep Tissue Massage

A deep tissue massage is a massage that will work primarily on the deep tissues of your body. Accumulated tension in muscles and tendons can be relieved through deep pressure and precise application of adapted movements.

Lymph and Blood flow is stimulated and your body will feel light after the session. If you have accumulated deep tensions in muscles, legs or feet this is the right method to make you feel better. Please be aware that in this session deep pressure is applied on muscles and tissues and it’s important to inform me about any injuries or contraindications. It is important to let me know if the applied pressure feels painful or uncomfortable so I can adapt the techniques according to your capacity and wellbeing.

For this session I will work with oils that can stimulate the blood flow in your deeper tissues like Rosemary, Helycrysum Essential Oil or Tiger Balm.

TREATMENT

Thai Massage

Thai Massage is a technique that works with palm and thumb pressure on the whole body and is applied on a futon mat, while the client is dressed in traditional Thai clothes (provided).

Assisted yoga postures complete this re-energizing technique and you feel fresh and alert after your session. If you feel general stiffness in your body and you need to stimulate your bodys energy flow, Traditional Thai Massage provides a great method to re-energize.

Please be aware that in this session deep pressure and stretches are applied on muscles and tissues and it’s important to inform me about any injuries or contraindications. It is important to let me know if the applied pressure feels painful or uncomfortable so I can adapt the techniques according to your capacity and well-being. Clothes are provided and no oils are used for this technique.

TREATMENT

Foot Reflexology

Foot Reflexology is working with precise deep pressure on pressure points on the feet. This technique is known to stimulate organs and body parts by pressure on their corresponding area on the feet.

It will also be the ideal technique to choose if you have walked a lot and your legs feel heavy or to accompany a detox or weight loss program. Also, if you have contraindications like injuries or skin problems and you can’t opt in for a full body massage, this could be the perfect way for you to find some relaxation and relief tensions.

I will usually work with tiger balm to leave a feeling of freshness and increased blood and lymph flow on your feet (and legs).
